These terms apply to the podiatry services provided by High Steps Pty Ltd (ABN [ABN to be confirmed]), trading as High Steps Podiatry, at the Harrington Park clinic and through home visits across Sydney. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide podiatry (foot care) services delivered by a registered podiatrist. The care recommended at your appointment is based on your individual circumstances and the practitioner's professional judgement. Your care needs are individual and outcomes can vary from person to person.
Appointments and home visits
When you book, we will confirm whether your appointment is at the clinic or as a home visit, the time, and your funding pathway. Home visits are available across Sydney; if your address is outside the service area, we will let you know.
Fees and funding
Fees depend on the type of appointment and your funding pathway (Private, DVA, NDIS, Medicare bulk-billing via a GP care plan, workers compensation, or a private health fund). We will explain the fees that apply to you before your appointment. Where you are billed directly, payment is due at the time of your appointment unless we agree otherwise.
Cancellations and missed appointments
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. A cancellation fee of [cancellation fee to be confirmed] may apply where less than 24 hours' notice is given or where an appointment is missed. We will make you aware of this fee when you book.
Your responsibilities
To help us care for you safely, please provide accurate information about your health, medications and history, and let us know of any changes. For home visits, please ensure safe access to your home.
Privacy and confidentiality
We handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your care is confidential. There are limited circumstances in which we may be required to disclose information without your consent, including where there is a risk of serious harm to you or another person, to meet child protection obligations, to make a notification under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, or where required by a court or by law.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of your care or experience, please tell us first and we will work to resolve it. You may also contact:
- the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) at ahpra.gov.au;
- the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) at hccc.nsw.gov.au; or

Your consumer rights

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
